Here are Owls writer Dom Howson's player ratings (only players with more than five appearances this season have been included):
21. Lucas Joao 6.5
Strong, quick and direct, Joao registered 10 goals. The Portugal international is unplayable on his day but you are never quite sure what you are going to get from him from one week to the next. Can still do more. Photo: Steve Ellis
22. Atdhe Nuhiu 5.5
Five goals was a poor return from the big man. More than half of his appearances came from off the bench, with Bruce largely utilising him as an impact substitute. Photo: Steve Ellis
23. Gary Hooper 5
The centre-forward missed more than a year of football because of injury before returning in March. He looked rusty and scored just once in six outings. His services have not been retained. Photo: Steve Ellis
24. Steven Fletcher 7
He has led the line superbly, particularly in 2019. His work rate is top notch and he is a handful in the air. Fletcher finished the club's top-scorer with 11 goals and looks set to spearhead Bruce's attack next season. Photo: JP
