At six feet 10 inches tall, Tony Wroblicky tends to make an impact.
And his contribution to DBL Sheffield Sharks, somewhat unpredictable start to the season, has been recognised by the BBL.
The League’s officials picked him in his first ever berth in their All Star starting five.
He had stepped up to help the depleted side bounce back from losing key personnel last week and take a BBL Championship triumph against Giants. Wroblicky produced a 60% shooting performance to garner 21 points and only just missed out on a double-double by a single rebound.
He also demonstrated his passing vision with six assists and recorded two blocks and two steals.
Wroblicky is a dual national of American and Lithuanian decent. He joined Sharks following a season with Kangaroos Basket in the top flight Scooore League of Belgium, where he averaged 8.4 ppg and 5.7 rebounds.
Zaire Taylor (London Lions) Alex Owumi (London Lions) Jamell Anderson (Cheshire Phoenix) and Gareth Murray (Glasgow Rocks) made up the rest of the All Star squad.
