Woman hit by car in Sheffield city centre

The collision happened at around 1.30pm on Vicar Lane near the junction with Church Street.

Police say the 27-year-old victim sustained injuries to her leg in collision with a blue Ford Focus.

At around 2pm, two police cars and an ambulance were still at the scene, while officers interviewed witnesses.
