Model railway enthusiasts flocked to Doncaster Racecourse to view working layouts and take part in live demonstrations.

Philippa Edis, exhibitions marketing executive for Warners Shows said: “We were thrilled to see such a mixture of ages enjoying the 30 working layouts on display, and browsing the various exhibits.

“Hornby sponsored the show, and our younger visitors were treated to a special children’s area with prizes up for grabs as part of a colouring competition.”
