Firefighters have dealt with three car fires in South Yorkshire this morning.

The cars were all torched, said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.

A Mitsubishi Shogun was found burning in Wellthorne Lane, Ingbirchworth, Barnsley, at 4.25am; a Corsa was found alight in Abney Road, Meersbrook, Sheffield and a Mitsubishi Space Wagon was set opn fire in Guid Road, East Dene, Rotherham.

At 11pm last night a car was torched in Toppham Way, Lowedges, Sheffield.
