Sheffield Wednesday fans walk raises cash for Children's Hospital
Dozens of people took part in a walk from the Children’s Hospital to Hillsborough Stadium, stopping at local pubs along the way to collect money in buckets.
The event was arranged by Dato Khan, who runs the popular The Wednesday Sing! Facebook page.

He said he would be asking Sheffield Wednesday for a donation as well.
The 40-year-old, of Woodseats, said: “It was absolutely brilliant, with lots of Wednesday fans turning up.
“We had people coming in scooters and wheelchairs and there were children and dogs.
“People really enjoyed it.

“We have done things for charity before through Wednesday Sing! but not on this scale. Now we have the idea of what to do and how to do it we will do it again next year and hopefully get a lot more people involved as well.”
The money raised will go towards supporting the Children’s Hospital building of a new £40 million wing.
