Conor Washington, the Queens Park Rangers centre-forward, is expected to join Sheffield United after his contract at Loftus Road was terminated by mutual consent.
Washington, aged 26, is understood to have opened talks with Chris Wilder's side last night; before their Championship rivals cut short his deal. Previously of Peterborough United, Washington has struggled for opportunities in West London this term.
