Gritters out as cold snap continues across Sheffield and forecasters warn of snow
Gritters will be out on the streets of Sheffield tonight with temperatures expected to plummet below freezing.
Sheffield Council contractor Amey said its fleet would be out across the city, with temperatures expected to drop as low as -2°C.
The Met Office said a frost was likely overnight and temperatures were not expected to get above 3°C on Friday.
Forecasters have also warned of possible snow in Sheffield on Tuesday morning.
