'Green zone' advice on saving energy
Doncaster Council was giving residents the chance to discuss environmental issues at the corner of Baxtergate and Frenchgate until 4pm today.
Residents were also being asked to commit to saving 20 per cent of their energy use and work towards becoming energy efficient.

Hide AdCouncil officers offered free impartial advice to residents and handed out free low-energy light bulbs.
The council were encouraging views and opinions on the improvement plans developed for air quality and public rights of way and were able to answer any questions on how the public can reduce their environmental impact.
Residents also had the opportunity to discuss any environmental concerns and woodland issues.
Every child at the event was offered a free environment game pack including wordsearches, crosswords and other puzzles.
