GRANGEWOOD DEATH: 18-year-old charged with murder of Darren Broadbent

Officers investigating the death of Darren Broadbent, whose body was discovered at Thorntree Court in Grangewood on Monday, August 1, have charged two people in connection with his death.

Susan Shaw, 44, of Birchwood Crescent, Chesterfield, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Jaiden Browne-Evans, 18, of Beaver Hill Road, Sheffield, has been charged with murder.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.

The man and woman who have been charged will appear at Chesterfield magistrates court today, Friday, August 5.
