A determined burglar smashed a front and rear window to break into a house in Sheffield, police have revealed

The crook struck at a house in Hawksley Road, Hillsborough, in the early hours of Sunday.

That night a burglar used a brick to smash a window to get into a house in Dial House Road, Wisewood. Cash was stolen during the raid.

Police investigations are also underway into burglaries in Stannington Road, Stannington; Bannerdale Road, Brincliffe; Becket Road, Low Edges; Sharrow Vale Road, Sharrow Vale;
Toppham Road, Lowedges and Glenorchy Road, Bannerdale.

Officers are also investigating a break-in of a compound in Neepsend Lane, Neepsend and thefts from sheds in Cobden View Road, Crookes; Charles Ashmore Road, Meadowhead;

South View Crescent, Sharrow and Meadowhead Drive, Meadowhead.
