Performers who put on shows at the popular Buxton Festival fringe event this summer can get their production on for £40 if they apply this month.

Organisers say that events are already building up for the 40th anniversary Fringe which runs for a few days longer than usual, from July 3 to 24.

The theatre programme already includes adaptations of Tom Jones and Moby Dick from the award-winning Ross Ericson, the true story of female warrior Mulan and musical comedy with Hollywood’s Miss Wong.
