Police are hunting two men who knocked a motorcylist off his bike in an attempted robbery in Sheffield.

The incident took place at around 11am yesterday, Thursday, November 10, when the victim, a 48-year-old man, was riding his red Honda motorcycle along Auckland Way, near Mosborough. Helmet-cam footage shows how the driver of a Grey Fiat 500 containing two men – both wearing black balaclavas – then appeared to deliberately knock the motorcyclist off his bike.

The passenger of the Fiat got out and shoved the man and an altercation took place, before occupants of the Fiat got back in the car and drove away. The victim did not suffer any physical injuries. Officers conducting enquiries believe the car to be stolen and displaying a false number plate.
