Boris Johnson to be UK's new Prime Minister

Boris Johnson has beaten Jeremy Hunt in the battle to become the new leader of the Conservative Party and therefore the UK’s new Prime Minister.

Mr Johnson takes over from outgoing Tory leader and PM Theresa May.

He is expected to be invited to form a new government by the Queen in the coming days.
