Teaming up with The Archer Project on their annual campaign, Veezu’s donation covered the cost of 140 dinners which will were served at Archer Project’s Cathedral hub on 21 December. In a display of hands-on compassion, Veezu employees came together and volunteered to serve the festive meal to homeless and vulnerable people.

Veezu committed to supporting The Archer Project as their Sheffield Charity of the Year in 2022/23 to help make a tangible difference in the lives of the less fortunate. As part of this pledge, The Archer Project have spent two years in Veezu’s Charity Incubator; an office space which takes away some of the financial and business pressures charities face.

Sacha Skinner, Regional Marketing Manager at Veezu, expressed heartfelt sentiments about the initiative: “The festive season is a time of giving, and we at Veezu believe in the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need, especially during this time of year. Our ongoing partnership with The Archer Project and the Christmas dinner event reflects our commitment to positively impacting and bringing hope to those in our community who face particularly challenging circumstances.”

Joseph Logan, Fundraising Manager at The Archer Project, said: “We are incredibly grateful for Veezu’s continued support of The Archer Project. Veezu’s generous donation and their employees volunteering their valuable time allowed the people who come to us for support to enjoy a Christmas dinner and some respite from the harsh realities of winter for people attempting to escape homelessness. Without support from businesses like Veezu, we would be unable to provide the life changing support we do. Thank you, Veezu!”
