These smoke-filled photos from inside Sheffield’s clubs and pubs capture the days before lighting-up was outlawed.

This retro photo gallery will bring back memories of the days of smoky pubs, cafes, working men’s clubs, theatres and more in days before the smoking ban came into force in July 2007.
