The Kings Started strong on Friday taking a 3-1 lead in the opening period of game 1. From there they kept piling on the pressure, and scored six more unanswered goals in the final two periods of the game to win the first game of the series 9-1.

Game two on Saturday saw Team GB add several more players to their bench. The additional players helped them out, but the Steelkings still came out stronger in the first period with a 2-1 lead. Period two was a different story altogether though, as two goals for Team GB saw them take the lead in the game. The final period saw the Steelkings rise to the challenge though, with four unanswered goals to see them the 6-3 victors in the game.

With two wins under their belts already the Steelkings had already won the series, but neither team was going to give up easily in the final game, with the Kings aiming for a clean sweep and Team GB looking to take one win as a consolation prize. Sunday's final game was another which favoured the Kings though, with them taking a 5-2 win to complete their winning weekend.
