South Yorkshire organisation wins national honour for person-centred home support
Horizon Care has been named Best Home Care Provider at the Business Awards UK, an awards programme open to organisations of all sizes across the country.
The South Yorkshire organisation supports people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and autism to live independently in their own homes and communities. It says individual choice and family values underpin its services, reflected in its motto, “Your Life, Your Choice, Your Support.”
Emma Reeve, Managing Director, said: “Being named Best Home Care Provider is an incredibly proud moment for everyone at Horizon Care. This award belongs to our whole team and recognises the compassion, commitment and hard work they bring to supporting people every single day.”
She said the organisation’s approach focused on listening to individuals, understanding what matters to them and helping them gain greater choice and control over their lives. The award also recognised the quality of support delivered by Horizon Care’s teams.
