Halloween trail and spooky activities return to Tropical Butterfly House this half-term
A major Halloween extravaganza is arriving at the Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park for half-term.
Running from Saturday, October 24, to Sunday, November 1, the attraction invites visitors to navigate an enchanted Witches and Wizards Halloween Trail. Guests can complete challenges to graduate from the park’s School of Magic (and Mischief), encountering dragons, eerie owls, the Witch’s Cabin, and the Wizard Extraordinaire alongside companion Dumbledore Raptor.
All-weather entertainment is hosted inside the new Crafty Cauldron, featuring activities including Witches Hat Hoopla, Bats Eye Bullseye, and a colouring contest. Live entertainment includes the Magical School of Curious Creatures show, offering free-flying bird displays, Broomstick Training, and a Hubble Bubble performance.
Families can also take a haunted tractor-trailer ride, tackle the Haunted House maze, attend minibeast keeper talks, and purchase fresh gourds and pumpkins while watching animals receive seasonal treats. Fancy dress is encouraged, with spot prizes available for finding hidden scrolls.
Activities run daily from 10am to 4pm with normal admission charges applied. Advance booking is required for the coffin-inspired Spooky Afternoon Tea at Lottie’s Coffee Lounge.
