'Whistling' parrots stolen

TWO Amazon parrots which whistle Laurel and Hardy tunes have been stolen from a Worksop pet shop.

The orange-winged birds, which are 18-weeks-old, were stolen during a break-in at Superpets, Gateford Road, Worksop.

Because of their age the owner of the shop is concerned for their safety as they need a special diet to aid their development.
