Students at Sheffield Hallam University were hosting a special Chinese New Year celebration today.

From noon to 4pm, students were due to gather in the main building at the city campus for an afternoon of singing, dancing, traditional Chinese music and food.

Activities and games were also planned to welcome the Year of the Horse.

Meanwhile, the university’s conversation club – one of the best ways to meet students from around the world – was taking place from 5pm to 6.30pm in room Owen 1025.
