Unique skate park to open
GET your skates on because Sheffield's newest park bowl will be officially opened by MP Megg Munn on Wednesday August 29.
Volunteers from Meersbrook Park Users Trust have worked with a local skate expert Rob Bannister, Newfield school children and residents over the last three years to come up with a unique design for the skate park.
The event is open to everyone, starts at 3pm and will include refreshments, music, sports and games.
