Two dead in Worksop crash

TWO people have been killed and a third injured when a car left the road and collided with a tree near Worksop last night.

A 32-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, both from the Worksop area, died at the scene of the collision on Lime Tree Avenue in Clumber Park.

A third person, a 24-year-old man also from the Worksop area, was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital where he is currently being treated.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at around 10.15pm yesterday.

All three people were travelling in a dark coloured Honda Prelude.
