Training for home chefs

Senior Dietician for the Community Ashley Kingsnorth hopes it will help improve the diet of residents in all nursing homes across the borough. She has also helped nursing homes increase their catering budgets.

Ashley said: "The homes are now more aware of the important role their cooks play in caring for residents."

Fitzwilliam Lodge, Rawmarsh, and Meadow View Nursing Home, Killamarsh, will receive certificates to mark completion of the training.
