Train service alterations
WEEKEND trains between Sheffield and Chesterfield will be replaced by bus services from Saturday September 15 to Sunday November 4.
The replacements are due to the next phase of Network Rail’s East Midlands Resignalling Renewal Scheme.
To enable work to take place safely, trains between Derby, Chesterfield and Sheffield will be diverted via the Erewash Valley, making journey times between Derby and Sheffield around 40 minutes longer. Passengers are advised to log on to www.midlandmainline.com
