So, with children everywhere unable to leave their homes for an egg hunt, Maisie decided to set up her very own virtual hunt – around her Frecheville garden.

Maisie’s mum, Emma, said: “My daughter has also been working really hard on ways to cheer up her friends and the children in the community this Easter.

“Maisie, who is eight, was upset that we couldn't invite her class to our garden Easter egg hunt, so she decided to create an interactive video to allow her friends to still take part.

“Maisie will take children on an adventure through our garden to find the missing objects as children play along at home in this interactive video.

“She has designed a print-at-home checklist for the children to use, and has worked very hard on this project for all the children stuck at home this weekend to ensure the children can have some Easter fun – and parents can have 10 minutes peace.”

The egg hunt is available today right HERE so get a pen and paper, and – in Maisie’s words – get cracking!
