You’ll never guess what Sheffield’s newest entertainment venue, Lane 7, has to offer...be the first to get a sneak peek
An 'unrivalled late-night experience' is what the owners of Sheffield's new boutique bowling alley are promising the first visitors - and it certainly sounds like it'll be a cut above the venues of yesteryear.
Lane7 - the latest addition to The Moor, the revamped city centre shopping street - will offer nine lanes of ten pin bowling, baseball-style batting cages, dartboards, pool and more, all alongside an extensive bar menu and upmarket street food from burger specialists Fat Hippo.
Thirty jobs have been created at the 20,000 sq ft location, which will be open from 11am until late, and local DJs are to be given the chance to play music on Friday and Saturday nights.
“Our site in Sheffield is definitely one of the most exciting we’ve created," said Lane7's boss Tim Wilks. "The space has enabled us to bring together the very best in grown-up entertainment and pair that with a great late-night drinking and dining experience. Sheffield has an amazing night time scene. This is a city that knows how to have a good time and we can’t wait to be a part of it.”Lane7 launched in Newcastle in 2014 and has since expanded to cities around the UK.
