Vegan market comes to city centre to 'showcase brilliant' Sheffield businesses for first event of the year this weekend

Vegan Market Co., which sets up markets across the country, announced that the Sheffield market on this Sunday, April 25, will be its first event of the year.

From craft cheeses and ethical clothing, to jewellery and plastic-free arts and crafts, the market champions sustainability and ethics.

The market, which has visited The Moor in the past, ‘showcases’ the best vegan businesses from around the country, from niche Sheffield independent companies, to larger well-known vegan businesses.

Vegan Market Co. also supports tree planting and conservation projects around the world and, in addition to offsetting the carbon footprint from each event, they also plant a tree for every business that takes part.

Lewis Beresford, Vegan Market Co. founder, said: “We are so excited to bring our vegan market back to Sheffield.

"We work hard to find leading vegan brands from around the country, from street food and sweet treats to ethical clothing and cruelty free cosmetics. We also work with many local companies and can’t wait to give all of these fantastic businesses the platform they deserve to showcase their brilliant work.”

Worksop-based The Adventurous Cake Book, which offers classic cakes and bakes with a plant-based twist, will be joined by tens of other independent and sustainable businesses from around the Sheffield area.

The market will take place on The Moor from 10.30am – 4pm.
