The Hollies have moved their UK tour, originally scheduled for the autumn, to next year in order to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
Original Hollies guitarist Tony Hicks said: “We felt like this is something no other band gets to do, celebrate six decades together, 60 years of this band and these songs means so much to us and so many others.”

The two-month tour will begin in Birmingham on May 22, calling at Sheffield on May 24. All previously purchased tickets are still valid for the new tour dates.
The band formed part of what was dubbed the British invasion of the USA alongside The Beatles and the Rolling Stones in the 1960s, when they included lan Clarke and Graham Nash in the line-up. Graham went on to join the huge folk-rock band Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and also had a successful solo career.
The 60th anniversary tour will see The Hollies performing their best-known hits including He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother, The Air That I Breathe, Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress), Bus Stop, Carrie-Anne and Sorry Suzanne.

They are touring to promote their first studio album in 19 years. Fatal Mistakes is out on May 28.
Frontman Justin Currie said: “It’s been nearly 20 years since we toured with a new album, lord knows what took us so long.
“The prospect of sprinkling our set with a few choices from Fatal Mistakes fills us with the sort of excitement that, for some men of our age, might call for light medication. We think the adrenaline will see us through.”

A second City Hall date has been added for the 2022 live tour of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. All the queens from the show’s second UK series will be appearing on February 14 and now April 9 as well.
The hit BBC1 show is a British version of the iconic RuPaul’s Drag Race. The drag artists compete with each other in a competition where the bottom two acts in each episode have to perform a lip-synced song to decide who stays and who sashays away.
Celebrities including Twiggy, Dawn French, Gerri Halliwell and Cheryl have joined drag star RuPaul, best friend Michelle Visage and comedians Alan Carr and Graham Norton on the UK TV judging panel.
