Once at the town hall, there will be an reception and players will be interviewed after making an appearance on the balcony. The event will take place from 5.15pm and 8pm. A number of roads will be closed to allow the public to take to the streets to watch the parade and greet the team. There will be plenty of places along the bus route to get a good view of the victory parade. Here are the best places to go to take part in the celebrations.
1. Cherry Street
If you want to watch the team bus as it sets off on the promotion parade then Cherry Street is the place to be. The bus will leave Bramall Lane at around 5.30pm this evening and will head down this road as it begins its journey to the town hall. Photo: JPI
2. Bramall Lane
Another good place to line the streets to see the start of the bus tour is along Bramall Lane. The bus will head down this street before it moves towards the roundabout where it is more difficult to get a good view. Photo: JPI
3. Arundel Gate
Arundel Gate will not be pedestrianised throughout the day, however it will be temporarily closed as the bus moves down it, and is a good place to follow the bus for a long stretch as it nears the end of its journey. Photo: JPI
4. Norfolk Street
There will be restricted access to Norfolk Street so that fans can get good view of the promotion parade. Photo: JPI
