There are places where you could buy a hot tub in Sheffield – or you could rent one out if you just want one short term, maybe for a special occasion, or fancy trying before you buy.

Their prices start at £4,000 and say you get what you pay for in terms of warranties and back-up service.

Ideal Hot Tubs (www.ideal-hottubs.com) have a showroom at Birley Spa Garden Centre, Mosborough. Their range starts at £3,999 and they sell Four Winds and Balboa spas, from budget to luxury models at £6,500.

But what about if you can’t afford to splash out much?
