Great British Food Festival coming to stately home in Peak District
The Great British Food Festival is heading to the Peak District this summer.
The event, which is on a tour of stately homes from the end of this month, will be at Hardwick Hall near Chesterfield from July 30 to August 1.
Events include chef demonstrations and other cookery stages, a Men v Food challenge and a Cake Off baking competition for visitors, children’s activities, live music and foraging walks.
An artisan food market features produce on offer, from local and national producers, housed in open-fronted stalls, not large marquees this year with a one-way system, to be more Covid-safe.
If all that makes you feel hungry or thirsty, there are street food producers and bars on site.
The festival takes place in the Hardwick Hall grounds from 10am to 5pm each day.

The tour starts at Harewood Hall, Leeds on May 29-31.
