We’ve rounded up some of the best things to do in and around Sheffield this February half term to keep the whole family entertained.
There are lots of fun and engaging activities to take part in, from a dinosaur-themed trail at the Tropical Butterfly House to a workshop about Whales at Weston Park Museum, plus many others.
5. All Hail The Whale - Weston Park Museum
In the approach to World Whale Day on February 20, Weston Park Museum in Sheffield is celebrating these amazing animals by hosting an event called All Hail The Whale on Wednesday, February 16. Learn about their lives, their bodies and skeletons, and make your own pilot whale poster to take home. You can also take a look at the museum's very own whale skeleton. The event starts at noon and finishes at 3 pm. Photo: Google Maps

7. Tropical Butterfly House - Dino Dig
The Tropical Butterfly House is calling all Dino diggers to explore their Dino Trail this February Half Term holiday. From digging for fun fossil finds at the Dino Dig to climbing inside a giant dinosaur egg, you'll come face to face with ferocious and friendly prehistoric friends. Find one of the dinosaur bones hidden around the park, and you could win a fantastic spot prize from the Jungle Gift Shop. The wildlife park is open every day throughout the half-term school holiday from Saturday 12 - Sunday, February 20, between 10 am and 5 pm.
