Full weekend of markets and live entertainment starts at Sheffield's Fox Valley

A long weekend of markets are being held at Fox Valley starting today, and will be packed with local traders, producers and live entertainment.

There will be different markets on all three days, between Friday, June 4 and Sunday, June 6.

Jessica Horton from the Fox Valley markets team said: “The weather is set to be beautiful for our full weekend of markets, with plenty of outdoor space to shop for essentials, sweet treats, homeware, crafts and to enjoy some fabulous food-to-go!”

On Friday, the weekly market will return and will be there between 10am-4pm, selling fresh produce and groceries for shoppers to stock up for the weekend, plus a range of handmade gifts and craft stalls.

Then Saturday will see the monthly Farmers’ Market return to Fox Valley from 9am-3pm with a huge range of fresh produce, sweet treats, food-to-go, artisan crafts, homeware, gifts and much more.

Traders at the Farmers’ Market will include Penistone Fruit and Veg, Hepy’s Hog Roast, Wentworth Woodfire Pizza, Great British Fudge Co, Riverside Spirits, The Cheese Shop and many more.

On Sunday, Fox Valley’s monthly Craft Market will return from 10am-3pm, showcasing 20 local traders and creators including Barnsley Botanicals, Nightmare Clay Company, Foxy Crafts and The Yorkshire Print.

Local musicians Morffitt will also be entertaining shoppers at the Craft market from 12-3pm.

The Fox Valley Farmers’ and Craft markets usually take place on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month.
