Drive-in cinema to open at Sheffield's Owlerton Stadium this week
Cinema-lovers will be able to enjoy some of their favourite big screen classics when another drive-in cinema opens in Sheffield this week.
The latest pop-up outdoor cinema in the city will open at Owlerton Stadium in Hillsborough on Tuesday (28 July). Movie nights are also being hosted at Kenwood Hall in Nether Edge throughout July.
The first film being shown at Owlerton will be The Lion King at 6.30pm on Tuesday before showings of Pulp Fiction, Dirty Dancing and Back to the Future, among other blockbusters, later in the week.
Tickets for the Lion King cost £27.50, plus a £2.46 fee for tax, per car. You can view listings and book here.

Some film showings will begin at 10.15pm.
With many cinemas in England still shut, several pop-up ‘drive-ins’ have opened across the country to allow people to enjoy films while maintaining social distancing.
