Owen Jenkins, aged 31, appears in the new series of Channel 4’s Married At First Sight, in which he marries primary school teacher Michelle, 25, from Hastings.
The show’s premise is that the bride and groom see each other for the first time when they walk down the aisle, then after getting to know each other decide whether they wish to remain a couple.

Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine, IT sales manager Owen said he 'personally didn't want to be on TV’.
"I'd rather do it without the cameras,” he said. “I wanted to find the person to spend the rest of my life with, and this is a great way to do it.
“The match makers are very well known, they have a great reputation and I can't tell you how much detail they go into to match you with the right person.”

Michelle had been single for three years before the big day and said she found dating ‘quite tricky’.
“I don't even know what I'd do to flirt. I either go really shy and can't really speak or I just babble.”
The wedding took place at Eastwell Manor in Ashford, Kent.
