"A damn good party" - popular Sheffield music festival No Bounds announces 2021 return

No Bounds Festival combines debate and discussion with live electronic and dance music, as well as workshops.

Taking place across two venues: the Kelham Island Museum and Hope Works, a music venue on Sussex Road, the festival will be returning to full capacity this October, whilst also incorporating elements of the online collaboration and virtual 3D live-streaming that worked so successfully in 2020.

The festival will begin with an opening concert at Kelham Island Museum, and then over to Hope Works for the opening rave until 6am on October 15.

As well as music from Loraine James, Batu, Ben UFO and Helena Hauff, the festival will offer VR viewable content, visual art, workshops and poetry.

The debate and discussion strand will be looking at subjects from the future of clubbing, to mental health impacts of COVID-19 in the creative industries.

Details on the visual art, poetry, wellbeing, film, talks, workshops and technology strands of the festival will be announced in July.

Liam O’Shea, founder of No Bounds Festival, said: “I’m so thrilled to be announcing we are going ahead with No Bounds 2021 in October this year.

"After such a hard 12 months it feels like we can finally look forward to doing what we do best, put on a festival that’s a damn good party but has a sense of adventure, community and discovery at it’s heart.

“We have tonnes of Sheffield artists on the bill as ever who all dance around the top flight lineup of international talent we are pulling in for the festival.
