5. Copa Bar at 291 Ecclesall Road
The team behind Copa Caffé which opened at the former Caffé Nero site on Ecclesall Road in April are set to open two new venues in Sheffield this year, the first of which is Copa Bar. The venue will be over two floors and its owners say it "is going to be a Las Vegas-style lounge bar." See the next picture for more information on their second venue. Photo: Copa
6. Extra Time and Copa Club at 60 Brown Street in Sheffield city centre
The Copa team are set to open new Sheffield venues this year, the second of which is in the former Spearmint Rhino site in the city centre and will be split into two. It will be comprised of a speakeasy style venue called Copa Club on the ground floor and a sports bar called Extra Time on the first floor. Pictured is an artist's impression of Extra Time. 7. Lykke in New Era Square in Sheffield city centre
New Era Square at St Mary’s Gate features restaurants, street food kiosks, the city’s largest oriental supermarket and shops – all located around a modern public square with panda art installations. Lykke, a Scandinavian-styled café, will round off the truly global and multicultural offer at the Square, serving up Nordic and north European cuisine. Photo: Submit
8. The Corner Store at 239 Sharrow Vale Road, Sharrow Vale
Taking over the site of Ora Gallery, The Corner Store will be a community store that also serves coffee, baked goods and ice cream. It is owned by the same team behind the popular Steam Yard coffee shop in the city centre, and is set to open later this year. Photo: Google
