Murder on the InfoWow Express, Riverside Live
This is a comedy night with a difference.
According to organiser Sean Morley: “The InfoWow Express is complete.
“A new train, heralded as unsinkable, is due to leave Riverside Station – well-wishers flock to Mowbray Street to wave handkerchiefs, send fond farewells and hawk merchandise.
“But what of its cargo? The intrepid travellers of InfoWow?
“Who are these journeypeeps riding into the unknown – these frontierspeeps of a new dawn?
“Vagabonds, merchants, mercenaries, a small selection of open-spot comedians?
“Whoever they are, they need to think fast, as something foul is lurking in the carriage – with the taste of blood.”
Sean, who is a long-time purveyor of offbeat comedy events to Sheffield audiences in various venues around the city, bills this as “the world’s first open mic comedy murder mystery tour”.
His events used to go under the banner of Alt.Com.Cab but he has now rebranded to InfoWow Comedy.
To get an idea of Sean’s sense of humour, take a look at the Glang Films channel on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/user/glangfilms).
Our sister paper the Sheffield Telegraph described his shows as “a leftfield treat”, which probably sums things up nicely.
It will be well worth a look, especially as the audience can pay what they think the show is worth.
The event kicks off at the pub on Mowbray Street at 7pm tomorrow, Thursday.
