CHARLES Dickens’ Great Expectations is the latest play to hit Doncaster Little Theatre, starting next week.
The Victorian tale of class and social climbing opens on Monday and has a cast aged from seven to 70. Kevin Spence is directing the production, which runs until Saturday, June 30, at the King Street venue.
He said: “It’s a task indeed to translate this Dickens classic into a stage drama.
“This show promises to be one of the theatrical highlights of this summer in Doncaster.”
Tickets are £10 and £7 with concessions.
