ext week sees the Solly Street pub reopen after undergoing an extensive make-over to make the most of its city views, as well as a more ergonomic setting for punters.

Boss Jeff Smith has lined up Mojo & The Beatniks and Muntuno to serenade in the new era and a fortnightly funk feature on Tuesday with The Candy Gods, Hey! Robot! and Inner State Circus following on Thursday.

October 6 marks a first outing in Sheffield for not-for-profit collective Lola and the Cartwheels, while on Nov 6 Digital Corruption presents an experimental audio/visual media showcase interspersed with media, documentaries, poets and comedians. German guitarist Steffan Basho Junghans follows on Nov 23.
