Sip Fest runs from Monday, September 28 to Sunday, October 4, with free events taking place at more than 40 coffee shops, cafés, bars and roasteries across Sheffield.

The main event will take place at Trafalgar Warehouse on Saturday, October 3, where more than 30 coffee, food and drink businesses will set up stalls.

The event will run in two sessions, from 9am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 4pm.

Visitors will be able to try free coffee tasters, meet coffee roasters, watch a latte art competition and take part in coffee-making lessons.

There will also be talks, street food, DJs and a makers market.

Businesses taking part include Sheffield's Forge Roasters, Yallah Coffee Roasters, Module and Nostos, alongside other coffee companies from across the region and the UK.

The Warehouse event is ticketed, with tickets currently costing £10 plus a booking fee.

For those wanting to get involved without a ticket, the fringe programme runs across Sheffield from September 28 to October 4, with participating venues putting on events throughout the week.

Organisers are also planning a large coffee run as part of the festival.

Sip Fest has been organised by Sheffield coffee businesses and is designed to showcase the city's independent cafés, roasters and coffee shops.

The main event will be held at Trafalgar Warehouse, 120 Trafalgar Street, Sheffield, on Saturday, October 3.

Tickets and further details about the free events are available at Sip Fest's website.
