Sheffielders to have pints poured by rock stars as they become first to taste two brand new ‘delicious beers’
“We can’t wait for our fans to try these two very different but equally delicious beers”
A popular watering hole in Sheffield will be the first to have access to two brand new beers ahead of their nationwide launch later in the month.
Leeds craft brewery Piglove Brewing Co. has teamed up with UK rock band Don Broco on a strictly limited two-beer collaboration and the first people to get to sample it will be beer connoisseurs of the Steel City.
The first launch event takes place on Friday, August 14 at The Albion on London Road. It’s a bar which is renowned for having a spacious beer garden and live bands.

The band members of Don Broco will be at the event meeting fans and pouring pints before performing in an intimate live setting at the venue.

In a statement, Don Marco said: “We’re super excited to be collaborating with PigLove Brewing to release not one, but two Broco beers.
“Having dipped our toe into the beverage industry with our tea & coffee range Don Brewco, followed up by our hot chocolate Don Cocoa, we leapt at the chance to try something a little stronger, partnering up with the beer wizards at PigLove.
“Sharing our love of experimentation, big sounds & big flavours, we met the team in Leeds at our Nightmare Tripping release show and were bowled over by their passion for all things brewing.
“We can’t wait for our fans to try these two very different but equally delicious beers.”
Their trip to Sheffield will be the first of three launch events with the others then taking place at by Piglove by the River, the brewery's riverside taproom, in Leeds on Saturday, August 15 and Big Red in Holloway, London, on Sunday, August 16.
Marcos Ramirez, Founder and Managing Director, Piglove Brewing Co added: “Don Broco and Piglove share the same instinct - Loud music, loud beer, no apologies. We've been fans of Don Broco for years - these two beers are what happens when that admiration meets a mash tun.”
From Friday, August 21 both collaboration beers will be made available on tap and in can across independent pubs, bars and bottle shops nationwide, alongside a full national release through Piglove’s online shop.
