With more glorious sunshine beaming down on Hillsborough Park for the second day of Tramlines, you might have thought people would have been dressed to beat the heat.
But far from it, people were still determined to don “T” costumes to mark “fancy dress Saturday.”
Tree frogs, fairies and traffic cones were amongst the costumes spotted at the festival site.
With Rick Astley, Blossoms and Courteeners set to perform later, people seemed to be having a great time at the city’s biggest music festival.
One group dressed as traffic cones, Ted Lasso, a sparkly cowboy and a king said the act they were most looking forward to seeing was Rick Astley.
A group of friends wearing Toy Story costumes said the act they were all waiting for was 00s pop star Gabrielle.
When asked about who they would love to see take to the Sarah Nulty Main Stage in the future, the group said Two Door Cinema Club, and Sheffield’s favourite sons, the Arctic Monkeys.
Other notable festival sights included a group of Tinkerbells and Trolls.
The photographs below capture just a few moments in yet another brilliant year for Tramlines.
We’d love to see your favourite festival snaps. Send them into us here.
