Sheffield folk urged to take part in RSPB’s big bird watch

Have your say

The RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch 2014 is set to take place on January 25 and 26.

Sheffield residents are encouraged to sign up to the event, which aims to build up a picture of what is happening to wildlife in Britain.

To take part, you simply count the birds in your garden or local park.

And for the first time in 35 years, the RSPB wants to hear about the other wildlife you see too – such as hedgehogs, badgers, squirrels and frogs.

n Register to take part at or on 0300 456 8330.
