The 21-year-old was attacked on Rock Street, Pitsmoor, at around 11pm.
He was taken to the Northern General Hospital, where his condition today was described as comfortable.
Police were due to visit him later to interview him about his ordeal.
Robbery victim stabbed in hands and leg
A MAN was in hospital this morning with stab wounds to his hands and a leg after he was robbed of his mobile phone and wallet on a Sheffield street.
