Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere along the cobbled canal basin, with a mix of award-winning street food, handmade crafts and local artisan stalls.

Alongside the food and shopping, live music and DJ sets will run throughout the weekend, helping to create a festival-style setting by the water.

Organiser Josh Royles said the event plays an important role in supporting the local economy and independent businesses.

“We’re thrilled to welcome back local businesses and artisans to showcase their offerings,” he said.

“It’s super important to have local markets - events like this are a powerful launchpad and support system for small businesses, and they help strengthen the overall city economy.”

The quayside setting has proven popular with visitors looking to enjoy a more relaxed side of the city.

Royles added: “We launched in 2022 because we love bringing the community together and supporting local businesses. It’s great to see how much people enjoy spending time by the quays.

“It’s great to see all the smiling faces, especially when the sun’s out and people are listening to live music.”

Entertainment across the weekend will include sets from DJ Paul Metcliffe and Cirque Du Funk, alongside other performers.

The market is free to attend and offers something for all ages.

This weekend’s event will run from 12pm to 9pm on Saturday, and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
