£500,000 for businesses
SMALL businesses hit by flooding in Yorkshire have received half a million pounds from Yorkshire Forward's Business Flood Recovery Fund.
Payments of 500,000 have been made to 310 businesses in the region who applied for help.
The money aims to cover business losses which cannot be recovered from insurance policies. Companies can claim up to 2,500 each.
