All 13 piglets were butchered by killers who clambered over a fence at Heeley City Farm.

Now a local businessman, who wishes to remain anonymous, has handed a cheque to police for 2,500, in the hope it may lead to a breakthrough.

He said: "It is absolutely disgraceful what has happened."
