£20,000 for IT training

A SHEFFIELD charity which works to rehabilitate ex-offenders and young people on the fringes of crime has received a £20,000 grant to buy computer equipment and run training programmes.

Rainer, based at Castle Square, has opened a new computing suite and launched a new training programme, thanks to the donation from Abbey's Charitable Trust.

The bank's donation allowed the charity to buy new equipment and fund specialised IT training for three members of staff.
